TradeBay is a fast-growing start-up empowering farmers worldwide to finally get better paid for their produce and reduce global food waste. We are creating a B2B marketplace challenging a multi-billion dollar industry, making fruit trading more efficient and transparent. About The Role
As an Account Manager at TradeBay, you will play an essential role in building strong and sustainable partnerships globally - both on the supply and demand side. You will work with sales and retention, generating new leads and ensuring we continue delivering a great experience to our members.
We believe you have a problem-solving mindset, that you are a relationship-focused person that enjoys understanding people's needs and make sure they are met.
What You Will Do
- Manage and be in contact with our members on a daily basis, make sure they have a great experience, and understand their needs.
- Develop our member base by locating, onboarding and developing long-lasting member relationships
- Develop a longlists of buyers and conduct outbound cold calls and cold e-mail communication to introduce TradeBay while validating their legitimacy based on guidelines provided
- Develop and automate the onboarding process
- Initiate and execute initiatives to build our member community
- Regularly discuss with the management team about new offers, features and improvements of the product.
Who You Are
- 3+ years of working experience in B2B Sales
- A natural relationship builder, a real peoples person
- You understand people's problems, even if they don’t always tell you exactly what they need…
- Positive mindset - love challenges & problem solving, not afraid to test your way to success
- Have a desire for rapid growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment with a “roll up your sleeves” mindset. - If you've worked in a startup, that's a big plus!
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English (Swedish is not required). Spanish, French, or Arabic are a plus as we constantly expand into new markets.
